Your athletes and teams are invited to participate in the 2016 Virginia Commonwealth Games, July 22-24, at Liberty University!
This annual event is open to all ages and skill levels. From archery to wrestling, the Games offer competition in over 60 different sports. Designed to inspire wellness and encourage friendly competition, the Commonwealth Games have been a fixture of Virginia life for 26 years.
This years host Liberty University is conveniently located in Central Virginia and provides world-class athletic facilities. Libertys expansive dining and lodging facilities will serve as our Olympic Village for the Games. Events kick off July 22 with an Athlete Tailgate Party from noon to 6 p.m., followed by the Opening Ceremonies, complete with a parade of the athletes and lighting of the Olympic torch and cauldron.
