Meet Information

Doors open @ 1:00 p.m. on Friday (packet pick up) & 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Athletes need to have ON a school issued uniform on in order to enter in.  Coaches please help us with this issue.

COACHES due to numbers: ATHLETES WILL SIT IN THE AUXILLARY GYM ACROSS FROM THE TRACK ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.  I hope that each of you understand and please ask your athletes to also be understanding.  The following rules apply to this area.
NO SPIKES WORN ON THE FLOOR IN THIS AREA.
PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL VALUABLES ARE SECURE.
WE WILL CALL FLIGHTS UP WHEN IT TIME TO RUN {Clerking will be done in the Auxiliary gym area}.
PLEASE DO NOT GIVE VOLUNTEERS A HARD TIME ABOUT HANGING OUT IN THE TRACK AREA.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ATHLETES LEAVE THE TRACK AS SOON AS THEY FINISH THEIR RACE.

New procedures for Boo Williams SportsPlex-Track Meets.  Coaches we need your help with this. 
All athletes bags will be checked.
The following items are not allowed:  NO FAST FOOD                                     
Any items not allowed will be thrown away because the SportsPlex will not hold, keep or take responsibility for those items.
Anyone caught opening any emergency doors will be removed for the facility and can be reported for a Sportsmanship violation to the VHSL.
ALL athletes must enter through the MAIN Entrance (even if they are pole vaulters)

Coaches Meeting – 2:15 (please have a representative present)
Coaches box near the finish line. NO athletes allowed in that area!
Field event areas coaches box TBD!

Field Events – check–in @ 2:00 P.M. {Throws} & 9:00 A.M. {Pole Vaulters}
Weigh-In 2:00 p.m. & 9:00 a.m.
3  Jumps or Throws
USE TAPE only on the track!
CHECK–IN BY FLIGHTS!
Meet standard with at least one mark measured.
NO FINALS!

Running Events- check-in @ 4:15 P.M. & 8:15 A.M.
55m dash/hurdles(Blocks – Finals Only)
2 heat Final – 55m dash/hurdles
Sprint Medley (200,200,400,800)
500m dash waterfall until the last 3 heats to be run in lanes
1000m run – alleys
800m relay – 3 turn stagger
1600m relay – 2 turn stagger

Clerk 
Check-in at the start of short sprints. (FRIDAY ONLY)
First call check-in. (Auxiliary Gym)
No sweats just what you plan to run in.
Athletes will be called in by heats.
Athlete’s spikes will be checked.” ¼ “spikes only!

Running time schedule.

Awards – presented at the conclusion of each event. Please remind your athletes that we will present medals once each event is FINALIZED!
The COACH of the winning events presents the awards!
1st-3rd place Individual
1st place relay teams only.

Hospitality Room-Paid coaches only on your high school staff, officials, & volunteers. (PLEASE WEAR YOUR WRIST BANDS)

Keep athletes off the main gym floor with spikes.

No warm-up on the main gym floor.

Please pick up trash in your areas.
