will be held at Burke Lake on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 12:00pm.
ENTRIES: Top 4 varsity boys teams and top 4 varsity girls
teams from each district in the Occoquan Region will enter
7 members to race in the regional tournament. The Top 15
Individual runners will also continue into the
region tournament. These top 15 runners are inclusive of
those teams advancing to region tournament.
Only those team members entered on Milestat.com entry will
be eligible for varsity regional tournament
competition.
ROSTERS: Each competing school must submit to the tournament
director a roster with numbers by Sunday,
October 29, 2017. The entries must be submitted on
milestat.com by 11:59pm Only 7 members from
each qualifying regional team as well as the Top overall 15
qualifying runners from each the boys and girls
district tournament race (grades 9-12) may run in the
varsity region race. RULES: Submit all Varsity
competitors on the Milestat.com entry system prior to
deadline.
DETERMINATION OF REGION CHAMPIONS
The tournament winner for the boys and girls race will be
declared the Region Champion.
AWARDS: Trophies will be awarded for the first place &
second place teams (boys & girls). The top 10 finishers in each of the
Varsity Championship races (boys & girls) shall earn
Gold Team medals. Individual medals will be awarded for 1st
thru 15th. The coach of the year is designated to the head
coach of the winning team in each of the championship
races.

Field and Cross Country rules.
ADVANCEMENT: Top three teams per region and top five
individuals not on one of the teams will advance to the
VHSL State Cross Country Championships on November 10-11,
2017 at Great Meadow, The Plains, VA.
