2019 TRI-RIVERS TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

PLACE:SUSSEX CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL SUSSEX, VA
TIME: 2:30 SCRATCH MEETING

ELIGIBILITY: Each Tri Rivers District school will be allowed three (3)
entries per event. The top four (4) finishers per event in each division will
advance to their respective regional championship. This includes the top four
(4) relay teams per division. All entries must be submitted online through Milestat
no later than 11:59 May 13, 2019.
TIMING:Atlantic Coast Timing will manage all Entries, Timing,
Placing and ScoringAll entries must be submitted by 11:59 May 13, 2019. Official finishes will be posted Live on Milestat as the meet progresses.
DO NOT COST AN ATHELETE THE OPPORTUNITY TO COMPETE IN THE DISTRICT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!
SCRATCH MEETING:
No additions will be allowed at this meeting. Only deletions and corrections will
be allowed.Sections may be re-seeded after the meeting.
EQUIPMENT:Each team is responsible for providing their own shot, discus
, baton, etc. Sussex Central High School will provide starting blocks and water.
All competitors must use 1/4 " pyramid spikes of flats while competing.
Violations of maximum length spikes will result in disqualification.
DISQUALIFICATION:
Competitor(s) shall be disqualified from his/her event if a
coach or team member is in the infield area designated for competition. These
areas must have competitors who are actually competing. Each contestant in the
running events must check in with the Clerk of the Course in the designated
area by the final call. Running events take precedent over field events. No
track event will be held up for any contestant. Coaches are reminded to be
familiar with the 2018 NFHS Track & Field Rules Book: "The ultimate
responsibility to have each competitor compliant with uniform rules is with the coach."
SCORING:Points for all events will be awarded on a 10-8-6-4-2-1 for the top six (6) places.
REGIONAL ENTRY: Please be familiar with the entry procedure for your respective Regional Championships.
