Rod Camden Outdoor Track Kickoff Meet MARCH 31, 2020 FORMAT: Each team is allowed 3 competitors per event. No relays will be run as the emphasis will be on individual performances. Grades 9-12 only. This meet is a low cost meet and will allow you to give your individual athletes an early invitational meet to run with comparable competition. Long jump and Triple Jump will be 4 jumps, no finals. We may have flights depending on the number of entries. If flights we will do top jumpers last.Shot and Discus will be in flights with finals.Pole Vault will start at 6-0 for girls and 7-0 for boys. High Jump will start at 3-10 for girls and 5-0 for boys.Running events will be sections on time, slow to fast. ENTRY SEEDING: For veteran athletes use last year's best performance. For new athletes, use a time trial performance or an honest estimate of a performance. Entries with no time or distance will be seeded last. FACILITIES AND LOCATION: The meet will be held at the E. C. Glass Vince Bradford Track and Field Complex. You should come dressed out as locker rooms are not available.AWARDS: The individual winner of each event will received a large engraved medal. This award will be presented on the field as soon as possible after the event has been put in the computer and announced.TEAM LIMIT: Teams will be limited to the first 20 teams who enter. Enter a couple of athletes early (entries open on March 14) so your team can get on the list. Then come back later and complete your entries (final entries due by 10pm on Tuesday, March 24). Concessions will be available; admission for spectators is $5. T-shirts will be sold.ENTRIES WILL ONLY BE TAKEN THROUGH MILESTAT.ENTRY FEES:Men: $10.00 per athlete or $60 per team (whichever is less)Women: $10.00 per athlete or $60.00 per team (whichever is less)If you wish to enter 4 or 5 in an individual event, add $5 per individual per event to the entry fee. These individuals will have to be emailed to rodcamden@comcast.net as the milestat limit is 3 per event. Maximum of 5 in an event. Be sure identify your school and be sure to enter name, gender, grade, event and performance.Make checks payable to" E. C. Glass Track". Entries will open on Saturday March 14 at 6:00am and close on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at 10pm. Entry fee should be mailed to Rod Camden, E. C.
