Meet Information

Northern Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association (NVHAA) will host its third annual meet on Saturday, May 9, 2020.  We've changed the name to the Centurion Classic 2020!

Our Classic will feature both Middle School and High School divisions.  Homeschool and private school teams, we invite you to attend this iconic meet at beautiful Butler Stadium located inside Quantico United States Marine Corps Base*!

  • Registration

    • Registration will close on Tuesday May 5th at midnight

    • High School (Division 1) - Middle School (Division 2).  

    • Contact Meet Director, Deanna Gage, (tteamnvhaa@gmail.com) for registration password.  

    • This meet is by invitation only.

  • Entry Restrictions

    • Each athlete may compete in 4 total events.  

    • 4 athletes per event per gender.

    • 2 relays ("A" and "B") per event per gender.

    • Athletes must be at least 12 years old the day of the meet. 

  • Running Event Order  

    • Girls Middle School - Boys Middle School - Girls High School - Boys High School.

    • Divisions/genders may combine for distance events.

  • Facility

    • 400 meter - 6 lane synthetic track - spikes allowed - spikes no longer than 1/4 inch.

    • Automatic timing system provided by Blue Ridge Timing.

    • Exhibition shot put and discus available - no other field events.

    • Food truck concessions supporting Marines*, parking, restrooms, water, and first aid available.

    • No admittance fee. 

    • After registration closes, we'll email you detailed information including instructions for entering the base*.

  • Entry Fee

    • $100/Middle School (boys and girls combined).  

    • $100/High School (boys and girls combined).

    • Checks payable to NORTHERN VIRGINIA HOMESCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION - hand deliver at Coaches Meeting.

  • Awards 

    • Ribbons awarded. 

    • Trophies awarded to the top 3 teams in MS girls, MS boys, HS girls, HS boys.

  • Team Scoring 

    • Top six: 10-8-6-4-2-1.

    • Exhibition throws do NOT factor in team scoring.
