*SPECTATORS- No spectators allowed
*ATHLETES: Athletes in proper uniform (only) will be admitted free at the door. Coaches will be given bands for entry. (4 per school)
*EQUIPMENT: Meet management will furnish starting blocks. All other equipment, team, or personal, to include batons, must be furnished by the competing schools. Should a baton not pass inspection, Meet management will have a limited supply.
*RULES: 2020 EDITION OF NATIONAL FEDERATION OF STATE HIGH SCHOOLS TRACK & FIELD RULES AND VHSL RULES.
*SCORING: 10 - 8 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1*AWARDS: 5a Policy

2 ATHLETES AND 1 RELAY MAY BE ENTERED BY EACH SCHOOL.
*ENTRY: YOU MAY EDIT YOUR ON LINE ENTRIES AT ANY TIME UP UNTIL 11:59AM, SATURDAY, FEB 6, 2021. YOUR ENTRIES AS OF THIS DEADLINE WILL BE CONSIDERED FINAL AND DECLARED. SCRATCHES CAN BE DECLARED AT THE COACHES MEETING ON THE DAY OF THE MEET.
NOTE: The VHSL does not follow all NFHS rules and regulations for track and field. The VHSL differs in the number of events allowed by an athlete at three running events (including relays) and any number of field events. NFHS rules allow an athlete to compete in four events total, including relays and field events.
84-4-3 Individual Participation-In one meet a contestant may compete in any number of field events but shall be limited to participation in only three running events, except that a contestant who competes in the 3200 meter run may compete in only one other running event. No individual contestant may compete in more than one meet in any one day. In any meet contested over two days, a contestant competing in the 3200 meter run may compete in two additional running events as long as only one of the two is contested on the same day as the 3200 meter run.
*DECLARATION ALL ENTRIES RUNNING EVENTS AT THE DEADLINE ON SATURDAY WILL BE BY RULE: CONFIRMED AS ENTERED. AND WILL COUNT AGAINST THE ATHLETE'S MAXIMUMALLOWABLE EVENTS WHETHER THEY CONTEST THEM OR NOT.
*EVENTS (BOYS AND GIRLS)
Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault, Shot Put, Triple Jump, 55 Meter Hurdles, 55 Meter Dash, 300 Meter Dash, 500 Meter Dash, 1000 Meter Run, 1600 Meter Run, 3200 Meter Run, 800 Meter Relay, 1600 Meter Relay, and 3200 Meter Relay
*RELAYS: Relay teams will be declared on a relay card provided at the meet at the time of event check-in. 5 athletes may be listed any four (4) of whom may run. The relay will count as an event only for those four (4) athletes who actually compete. Note that the only way to enter an athlete who is only going to be used as a relay runner is to list them online in one of the 5 slots allowed for each relay. DO NOT ENTER MORE THAN FIVE (5) NAMES FOR ANY ONE RELAY.
*RULES
The current National Federation Track & Field Rule Book and rules established by the Virginia High School League will be followed.
*STARTING HTS WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE GAMES COMMITTEE AFTER THE ENTRY DEADLINE.
**ELIGIBLE TO STATE TOURNAMENT: The top three (3) finishers per event advance to the State Indoor Championship. State entry information will be included in team packets for the regional championship.
