Meet Information
Location:West Springfield High School
Scoring:10-8-6-4-2-1
Athletes:12 per event.Top 3 places from each of Patriot District and Gunston District
Championships.Any Edison, Falls Church,
Justice athletes who place in the top 3 at the National District Championships.Then, (x) remaining best performances from
those District Championships to reach 12 total athletes.
Scratches:When the Preliminary Occoquan Region list is sent
out after the District Championships are completed, coaches will have 48 hours
to email any scratches.No additional
athletes will be added to the list.
Ties:In events where the Regional list has ties at
a certain mark/time, the field size will be kept to 12 athletes or less and will
exclude tied athletes.
Ex:10 athletes have cleared 4' 6" or higher in
girls high jump, and 5 more athletes are listed at 4' 4". The field would be set at the 10 athletes who
have cleared 4' 6" or higher.
Relays:Each team is permitted 1 relay per event.4x200m/4x400m heats:6-4-4
Field Events:4 Throws/Jumps, no finals.
