Entry Fee: $275.00 boys and girls or $137.50 for boys/girls only. Please make checks payable to James Wood High School. Entry fees are due by May 7, 2021

Entries:  Online entries are due by Monday, May 10 at 11:59 PM.  Teams may enter THREE (3) athletes per event in all events. Please be honest with entry standards to maintain integrity of the seeding.  One (1) relay team per school in each relay event. You will need to submit your entries using the MileSplit meet entry system.

Scratches:   If an athlete scratches from a running event after the Wednesday scratch deadline, that runner may not be added to another event, including relays.  No substitutions after the Monday entry deadline!

Implements: Shots and discs will be weighed and verified in the Press Box (door on shot & disc sector side) starting at 3:00 PM.

Participation:  Athletes are permitted a maximum of three running events and unlimited field events over the two days.

Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.

Facility: 6-lane rubber track, runways, and high jump area. 1/8 or 1/4 inch pyramid spikes ONLY are permitted. Concrete throwing circles. Please dress at home.  Only restrooms will be open at the field house.

Parking:  All vehicles park in the main parking lot.  Follow the sign indicating stadium parking (left turn) as you come up the front hill.

Spectators: As of May 1, state regulations permit a maximum of 1000 spectators.  We do not expect to exceed this limit at any time. However, spectators are still asked to arrive no more than :30 before the scheduled start of your son or daughter's event.   The entry fee is $5.00 for spectators per day.   A limited number of programs may be sold for $1.00.

T-Shirts: ABI t-shirts will be on sale in front of the field house by American Screen Printing.

Concessions: The JWAA will offer limited concessions throughout the day based on current COVID-19 restrictions. Proceeds benefit the JWAA scholarship and athletic funds.

Hospitality:  TBA based on COVID-19 regulations, but coaches and workers will have hospitality both days.

Coaches Meeting: Scratches only.  A field competitor may scratch without penalty. A running competitor may scratch from an event on the day of the meet and still be eligible to compete in other events for which he/she was registered; however, they cannot be entered into other individual events or relays.  Again, no substitutions are permitted.  Violations of these rules will result in disqualification from the event and the rest of the meet.

Miscellaneous:  UPDATED. Teams may arrive together and use tents, but should supervise for distancing and masking when athletes are not actively in an event or warming up.

All coaches, athletes, spectators, and event staff are required to wear masks when inside the facility. Only athletes warming up or competing in events are exempt during that window.  Athletes should, however, wear masks in the bullpens, please.

No changes after the entry deadline of Monday, May 10 at 11:59 PM.  Coaches are solely responsible for checking their entries prior to submission! Participants must report to the bullpen by second call.  Absence for the third call will result in a scratch for that event.  Only athletes in the bullpen are permitted on the infield.  All other coaches, athletes, and spectators must remain in the stands.

Four attempts for all field events in flights.  No finals this year.

High jump starting heights (five alive):  Girls 4'4"         Boys 5'4"

Pole Vault: The pole vault will not be contested.

Results: Results will be posted on Milestat at the conclusion of the meet.

We are looking forward to seeing you again this year.  Please remember the entry deadline of May 10, 11:59 PM
