Valley District XC Championship meet at the Rockingham County Fairgrounds.
Registration opens October 20th and closes Sunday October 24th
Race Information:
Course Opens at 1:30pm
Girls Race: 3:00pm
Boys Race: 3:45pm
Alternates Race: 4:15pm
Awards: 5:00pm
The top 2 teams plus the top 3 runners exclusive of the 2 teams advance to the Region 3C Championships to be run on November 3rd at Wilson Memorial High School in Fishersville, VA.
Entries:
You are allowed to enter ten runners but can only race seven in the championship race. There will be an open race for coaches wishing to run any athletes not competing in the championship varsity races. Boys and girls will run together in the open race and coaches should time their own runners. We will be running a large digital finish clock to make this easier.
Registration
Please register all athletes that will be running, including alternates and open race athletes; however, only the 10 athletes listed on your VHSL Conference entry form will be eligible to run in the varsity championship race.

Awards: Team championship trophy and medals to the top fifteen. Awards will take place near the finish.

Spectator cost: The district charges $5.00 per person (payable as cars/ spectators enter parking lot).
Parking is only allowed in the lot indicated on the map below. You must use the main entrance as the back entrance will be closed. Please do not park past the cones as we will be using that area for the team camps/tents.
Restroom facilities -- located in the fairgrounds close to the cattle barns.
Athletes are to stay out of the barns! The fairgrounds request that we keep everyone out of the barn areas. I have highlighted these areas in red on the map below. Athletes are only allowed in the team camp area and the restrooms. Please keep your athletes from entering the barn area. Any athlete caught in the barns will be given one warning and then disqualified from the meet if a second violation occurs. Please help us keep the fairgrounds happy!
Timing/Results
Timing will be done by Blue Ridge Timing. Official results will be available on-line here and will also be posted on Milestat as well as paper copies posted the day of the meet.
