VMI Elite 3200m Time Trial Recap

The first annual VMI Elite 3200m Time Trial saw many PR performances in an event that is used to help prepare athletes for next weekend's Foot Locker South race in Charlotte. In the boys' race, six runners dipped under 10 minutes as a lead pack of four were paced through the 1600 in 4:40. Westfield senior David Groff posted nearly equal mile splits by pulling away with the victory in a blazing clocking of 9:21.
