(10/17 & 11/14) races are @ Mount Trashmore located Kid Cove near parking lot.
Awards:Will be given on November 14th* attendance of series for series participation-(unless School Spirit participants). Men & Women, - overall winner Men and Woman and top 6 places; winner of each age group (5k, 4k, 3k) Youth Boy/Girl a-top 6 places each race, overall youth winner. Trophies, ribbons and gift certificates to various sponsor businesses given. Ribbons will be given to all participants who do not score in series but participated in a race.

I know that running or power walking is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effect of weather, including high heat or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Athletes who participate in this competition may be subject to formal drug testing in accordance with TAC rules, USATF and IAAF rule 144. Athletes found positive for banned substances, or who refuse to be tested, will be disqualified from this event and will lose eligibility for future competitions. Some prescription over the counter medications contain banned substances. Information regarding drugs and drug testing may be obtained by calling the USOC hotline at 1-800-233-0393. Having read this waiver, knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release FIA, FIAMAR, the City of Virginia Beach and Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation, USATF, AAU, race officials, volunteers and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the forgoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for legitimate purpose. I understand the 5k, 4k, 3k and 2k races and walk are not intended for headphones, skateboards, or dogs on leashes
