Meet Information
Dear Coaches,
The 5th Annual Bearcat Invitational will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010. This year, a Hy-Tek will be sent to you with all Meet Events set up. You will need to add your athletes to the file. If you do not have Hy-Tek, you will need to download a free version to enter your athletes. This entry process should eliminate event entry errors. If you contact us by the 1st of April of your intent to participate, we will send directions for downloading and entering your athletes.
All athlete database files should be emailed to us no later than Friday, April 16, 2010. Any scratches need to be emailed to us no later than Wednesday, April 21, 2010. All athletes must be entered in the athlete database to participate in any event, including a relay.
There will be no preliminaries to any race. All heats will be seeded according to times. Times that are in yards will need to be converted to meters before entering into the database for the athlete.
The Bearcat Invitational will allow each school to enter 2 individuals for each running event and field event, as well as one team per relay. The Bearcat Invitational is run under VHSL regulations. If an athlete is entered in the 3200, he/she will only be allowed to run in only one other running event. There is no limit to the number of field events an athlete can enter.
Weigh-ins for field apparatuses will begin at 9:15 am. Coaches meeting will begin at 9:30am. Field events will be at 10:00 am.
