This year\'s Glory Days Grill Invitational held at Bull Run Regional Park\'s 5K course was one of the most competitive meets hosted so far this season with many key head to head matchups between some of the state\'s top teams and individuals. What is known after the Glory Days Invite is that Melissa Dewey of Hayfield, Brad Siragusa of Chantilly, the Oakton girls, and the Thomas Jefferson boys are very good.

Welcome to all the competitors, coaches, parents and other interested followers of cross country to the 12th Annual Glory Days Grill Invitational here at Bull Run Regional Park. This year's meet once again holds the promise of an excellent morning and afternoon of action with more than 1,500 high school runners representing almost 60 schools ready to compete in one of the nine races scheduled on Bull Run Park's 5,000 meter (3.1 miles) layout.

Many of the state\'s best teams will be gathering to compete at Saturday\'s Glory Days Grill Invitational held at Bull Run Regional Park in Manassas. The greatest excitement for Saturday\'s matchup is generated from what will be the first encounter of the Lake Braddock and Oakton girls, who currently share the #1 ranking in the state of Virginia.
