BLACKSBURG, Va. – Three indoor season-best performances highlighted day two of competition for the Radford track and field team at the Hokie Invitational at Rector Field House on Saturday. 

In the 200m, Shanae Harris (Gainesville, Va./Battlefield) recorded an indoor season-best time of 27.18, while Brittany Whittaker (Pilot, Va./Radford) accomplished the same feat in the 400m with a time of 1:00.69. 

In the long jump competition, freshman Elaine Derricott (Richmond, Va. /Henrico) posted an indoor season-best with a distance of 5.45m (17'20.75”) to finish tied for 13th. 

The Highlanders will be back on the track Jan. 29 for the Liberty Open.
