Olajuwon Jones (Indianapolis, In./Speedway), Kyle Morse (Hingham, Mass./Northfield-Mount Herman), Sean Domer (Indiana, Pa./Grove City College) and Matt Dobson (Centreville, Va./Chantilly) will compete for Radford at the NCAA East Regional Track and Field Championships, May 27-29 at North Carolina A&T State University.

Jones will be making his second NCAA Regional appearance in the 400m. He reached the regional qualifying mark with a time of 46.90 at the Georgia Tech Invitational. Jones has run under 48.50 on five separate occasions and recorded four Top-10 finishes this season.

Morse, a 2008 All-America in the hammer throw, will also be making his second appearance. He advanced the regional meet by topping the field at the Liberty Invitational with a mark of 65.70m (215'7”). Morse is ranked 16th nationally and 10th in the region. In 2009-10, Morse eclipsed the 63.00m mark six times and went over 64.00m three times. To go along with his national ranking, the senior has placed first five times and recorded eight Top-10 showings.

Domer is making his first appearance in the NCAA East Preliminary Round meet in the javelin competition. He qualified for the regional with a new school record toss of 63.53 (208'5”) at the Georgia Tech Invitational. He has sixth top-five finishes and eight Top-10 finishes this season. Domer has reached 60.00m (196'10”) or better in eight of the ten meets this season.

Like Morse, Dobson is making his second appearance in the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the hammer throw. Dobson used a second place finish and a toss of 59.48m (195'1”) at the Clemson Orange and Purple Invitational to propel him into the regional meet. Dobson recorded six throws over the 54.50m (178'9”) mark and two throws past the 59.20m (194'2”) distance this season.
