In the very loaded 3200 meter races Virginians placed well and ran very fast. This included the top four 3200 marks in the state for both boys and girls. This is the full recap how Virginians faired at this meet. 

 

Blacksburg's Bonnie Angermeier en route to a VA #1 10:33.75 finishing her 4th

    On the campus of NC State, a few Virginians made the trip and got accepted into the 3200 meter high school races as part of the Raleigh Relays. The first on the track was the girls 3200 featuring Blacksburg's Bonnie Angermeier, Jennifer Fleming, and Claire Ewing-Nelson as well as Lafayette's Adriana Hooks. Though Ryen Frazier of Ravenscroft eventually ran away to win the race in a time of 10:26.01, the Virginians did not let down and finished all inside the top 12 of the 22 girls race.
