XC Parents Trying To Take Control? Sheriff's Office Steps In!

Last week, after their first cross country meet of the season, Floyd County experienced something they did not expect. After their meet a parent and the county superintendent began exchanging remarks both in front of others and aside by themselves that were both sarcastic and in poor taste. This exchange was heated and made personal as both had children on the team. It was with regards to the way the coach was coaching and whether he understood what he was doing, apparently stemming from earlier coaching changes.

Now all of that isn't quite bizarre, it actually happens nearly everyday! The crazy thing was later that week the parent who was criticizing the coach and his daughter, received a warning letter from the superintendent... hand delivered by the Floyd County Sheriff's Office! Tell me that doesn't sound serious!?
