Finally the national record holder has opened his season. Just when you thought we had seen it all though he opened in a blistering 7.22. This was good enough for US #1 and is a month ahead of schedule compared to last year's times. 


Lauryn Ghee (Grassfeild)

VA #2 39.51 300m Dash 


Grant's teammate and fellow superstar Lauryn Ghee opened he season in arguably her best event as well this weekend. She ran the 300 and clocked an impressive 39.51, not near her pr but still a very impressive time considering it was run on a flat track. This is VA #1 though for flat track times.


Alexis Clark (James Monroe) 

VA #3 42-7 Shot Put 


Remember this name because you are likely to see it for quite a few years! Sophomore, yes sophomore, Alexis Clark launched a 42-7 mark this weekend to put (get it) herself in the VA #3 spot. This performance would currently rank #27 all-time for Virginia just a few inches shy of making the all-time list. 



Destiny Ward (Oscar Smith)

US #7 1:15.80 500m Dash 


Destiny didn't only run a US #7 time in the 500 but she wanted to win everything apparently. She triple jumped 37-2.5 and ran an impressive 8.46 to bring home three individual titles.
