Jumps
Superstar Titiana Marsh is back and apparently ready to regain her spot on top of the leaderboard. She went 42-4 indoors and really wants the state record. This could be the weekend she does it and she is also in the long jump. She is the favorite in both events.
Akinshe Hill (Western Branch - Triple Jump) and Allen Blair (Tabb - Long Jump) enter the competition as the favorites in the two horizontal jumps for the boys.
Grant Holloway is the athlete to watch in the jumps though as he is entered in the high jump and after his 6-10 warm-up at Dogwood we know he is ready to break 7-0 this season.
In the girls' high jump though we could have the closest jump competition of them all with Lauryn Ghee at 5-8 and three girls just behind at 5-6.
