Hurdles Preview
The hurdles historically are an event that favors both the young and old (no-offense Queen). Interestingly enough the longer hurdles favor the younger runners and the shorter hurdles favor the quick technical runners and thus can allow the athletes to be quite a bit older and still compete at a high level.
Just a few years out of high school is Texas' Byron Robinson in the 400mH. It took him a couple years to find a school he was comfortable at but it seems like he has definitely found his spot as he looks to make the Olympic team.
Also trying to make the team and actually her second Olympic team is former Hermitage standout Queen Harrison. She finished 4th at the Beijing Olympics in the 400mH but will be trying to make the 100mH team this time around. She enters the competition at 12.52 and the third seed.
