Though we would like to build this competition up to be a close one but that would be an insult to Blacksburg's squad. Their team is just on another level. They average 18:30 as a team... as a team. They are the #1 team in Virginia and #8 team in the nation.
Using the virtual meet function it looks like they will score around 64 points and significantly gap any other team.
Fighting for the runner-up trophy though will be Tuscarora, James Madison, and Cosby. All three of these teams seem to finally be putting all these pieces together this weekend and it should be fun to see how good these teams are. They all were in our pre-season rankings for being some of the top teams in the state.
Deep Run could also be a team to watch as it looks like Margot Brown will be making her season debut here as well. She could definitely help the Wildcats out and move them from 23rd closer to the top.
