Relay Races
Just like clockwork the Bruins are looking to be back on top yet again. This time though Western Branch is joined by fellow Bruins, Lake Braddock atop the favorites list for a national title in the relays.
On the boys' side of things Western Branch enter as the favorites in the 4x200 and strong sleepers in the 4x400 and SHR. Both of the latter two they will have to try and win from the unseeded section.
Lake Braddock's shot comes in the boys' DMR where they have run well all season despite not being 100%. If they are one hundred though this weekend you can expect them to be a sub 10:10 team.
Finally in the girls' relay races the Western Branch girls will look to come home with some serious hardware from the 4x200, 4x400, SMR, and SHR races. They have to take down Sydney McLaughlin in the SHR and then Bullis in three of the four relays so they have their hands full but if anyone is going to do it, it is Western Branch.
