In the girls 3200m run, favored Midlothian junior Amanada Patterson sets the early pace.	Approaching the end of the first mile, Patterson's pace is too much for the rest of the field. Nearest contenders are St Catherine's Katie Doswell and Forest Park sophomore Stephanie Slekis.
Heading into the bell lap, Stephanie Slekis has made up a lot of ground on 2nd place runner Katie Doswell.	Looking relaxed, Amanda Patterson heads to the finish with a winning time of 10:40.36.
Stephanie Slekis turned it on the final lap to take second with a time of 11:08.77.	St Catherine's sophomore Katie Doswell takes third with a time of 11:16.12. She is followed by yet another sophomore, Kellam's Tara Conner (11:19.35) who edged Warren County's Michelle Beardmoore (11:35.54) at the finish.
In the 2nd heat, North Stafford Sophomore Amber Lussier goes sub-12 (11:59.84) with Jefferson Forest freshman Donna Bryant finishing second in 12:02.16.
