The first edition of the Virginia high school indoor track team depth rankings. These rankings were scored 20 deep for individuals and 20 deep for relays. For example, for individuals 1st place received 20 points for their team, on down to 1 point for 20th place. The depth rankings favor teams with more than just a few individuals stars gaining a bulk of the points and a well balanced team competitive in multiple events than the power rankings.
