At this past Saturday's Charles City Invitational, Fork Union senior Jordan Roach uncorked a strong opening throw to his 2012 outdoor season with a personal best and state leading mark of 168'0" in the discus throw. Last year, Roach was won the discus in every one of his meets with the exception of the Volunteer Track Classic in Tennessee including a VISAA state outdoor title with three marks over 160 feet last spring.
