Meet Information

4th On The Run Sports Falcon Track Classic

When: Friday Night May 4th, 2012
Field events begin at 4:00PM, Track events at 4:45PM
Coaches meeting at 3:15PM
Where: Fauquier High School Falcon Track & Football Complex

Who: Up to 12 teams (per gender) from VA. The first 12 teams committing to the meet will be accepted. Please commit early, with an email to the meet Director QJONES@FCPS1.org Private schools must be cleared by the Meet Director: Coach Quentin Jones prior to entry submission, to avoid any sanctioning issues.

Entries: 1 relay per team and 3 individuals per team in each track event, 2 per gender in the LJ/TJ, 3 all other field events. As per VHSL rules, athletes are limited to THREE running events (two if running the 3200m) and unlimited field events. SPIKES ONLY

Entry Fee: $150.00 per gender or $250.00 per team (Boys & Girls combined). Please make checks payable to Fauquier High School.

Scratches: Scratches and Substitutions will be allowed on the day of the meet, Friday April 29th from 2:30 PM 3:30 PM. Only scratches & Substitutions will be allowed, no additional entries.

Field Events: There will be four attempts (FIRST ATTEMPT WILL BE MEASURED, NEXT THREE MUST MEET STANDARD) no finals for athletes in the LJ/TJ/SP/DT. Flight order in these events will be: lowest seeds to highest seeds. PV opening heights Boys 1000 / 800 and Vaulters will be weighed prior to competition to ensure proper pole use.

Track events: Heat order will be Fastest seeded section first.

HOSPITALITY TENT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR COACHES

Awards: Medals will be given to the top 6 per event / top 3 relay teams during a podium ceremony! Team trophy will be presented to the Boys & Girls Team Champions and Runner Up. A Boys & Girls Track MVP and Boys & Girls Field MVP award will be selected.

T-Shirts: 100 shirts will be sold for $13.00 ea throughout the meet.

Concessions: A variety of hot and cold concessions will be sold throughout the meet.

Admission: $5.00 per adult (13 and up). $3.00 per senior citizen & children 6-12
