2014 Region 3A East Cross Country Championships
Date: Tuesday, November 4, 2014
Location: Central-Woodstock High School; North Street Course ( directions attached).

3:00 pm Girls Varsity Race-athletes on starting line by 2:55
4:00 pm Boys Varsity Race-athletes on starting line by 3:55
Awards will follow as soon as scores are tabulated and confirmed.
****School Entries: Give a signed and completed VHSL Regional Meet entry form to your Conference Director at your Conference Meet. The conference director will verify all entries and will then email all regional entries to Steve Geiman by Friday,October 31 .

****Meet directors will also need to send a copy of meet results.
Meet Administration: We will be on the chute-card system. All athletes will be given a finish card in the chute. All athletes will also be wearing numbers with tear-off bottoms that will be collected at the end of the chute. Please instruct athletes to pin only the number and not the tear-off. Coaches will collect all athletes finish chute cards after they clear the chute and put the athletes name on the chute card, and place those in a supplied envelope for a quick score. Those will be turned in to the scorers table as soon as all of your athletes have finished.
Rules: All National Federation Rules will be in effect including uniform, jewelry, and athlete conduct. Coaches, please review all rules with your athletes before the meet.
Entries: Each qualifying school team may enter 10 individuals and race up to 7 in each varsity race. The top 6 teams and the top 10 individuals not on those 6 teams will qualify for the state Championship Meet at Great Meadows on Saturday.
Dressing Space: Athletes should arrive dressed to participate. There are no dressing facilities. Porta-Johns are available.
T-Shirts: A company will be on-site to print t-shirts.
Admissions: There will be a $7.00 admission fee. Please inform parents.
