VHSL Group 2A West Regional XC Championships
MEET SCHEDULE
2:00-2:45pm PACKET PICK-UP at the Finish Line area
2:45 pm COACHES MEETING at the Finish Line area
3:00 pm GIRLS VARSITY RACE (3.0 miles)
3:45 pm BOYS VARSITY RACE (3.0 miles)
4:30 pm AWARDS CEREMONY
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE ENTERED INTO MILESTAT BY SATURDAY OCT. 29TH BY MIDNIGHT.

PARTICIPANTS - Boys/Girls Varsity Entries: 2A West Region cross country teams and individuals that have qualified from their Conferences. Only 7 members from each Conference team (grades 9-12) may run in the varsity race. Entries will be done on Milestat.com.
ADVANCEMENT: The top 6 girls & 6 boys teams and the first 10 finishers not on an advancing team will advance to the Group 2A State Meet on November 11th, 2016 at The Plains, Va.
AWARDS: The top 15 finishers in each of the Varsity Championship races (boys & girls) shall earn All Regional Honors for 2016 and receive medals. The top two teams will receive trophies.
BUS PARKING: Park buses in front of the football field behind Giles High School.
COURSE: The 3 mile course is basically two loops mostly grass with one decent hill on the second loop. The start and finish are both on the baseball field. The best place to watch the races is at the softball field. E-mail if you would like me to send you a map or wait until the entries are closed and I will be sending a map out.
CHIP TIMING: RunRoanoke.LCC will be providing the timing. All race results will be posted on Milestat.
*VERY IMPORTANT: NO SOCCER OR FOOTBALLS ALLOWED AT THE MEET.
