The “Best of the Rest” Meet

When:  		Tuesday, May 9, 2017, 5:00 p.m. 

Where:  	Park View High School

Who:  	This is a developmental meet that is meant to give your second tier athletes an opportunity to compete against students at their level.  It is for athletes from the 15 Loudoun County Schools who:

1.	Have not competed in 10 regular season meets.
2.	Will not be competing at the District Championships.

Performances at this meet may not be used to qualify for the District Championships.  

Entries:  	Two individuals per event.  One relay team per school in each of the three relays.  Entries due on FRIDAY, MAY 5TH. Entries will be done on milestat

Instructions for entries are as follows:

Entry Fee:  	$125 (includes both boys’ and girls’ entries)

Scratches:  	You may make scratches on the day of the meet.

Field Events:  	There will be four attempts given to each athlete in the long jump, triple jump, shot, and discus.  

Track Events:  	Section order will be the slowest-seeded section first.  

Recognition:  	The winners of each event will be announced on the public address system.  We will be posting results during the meet.  The results for all the contests will be sent the next day. No team scores will be kept.

Dinner:  	Pizza will be provided to all coaches from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Reminder:  	All participating teams are asked to send one assistant coach to work at an event.
