Churchland junior Khadeja Kearney had a terrible Eastern Region meet as nerves and an upset stomach prevented her from competing at her best when she placed third in the 300 hurdles.
But Kearney made up for it at the Group AAA state meet as she won the event in 42.10 seconds. She finished the season ranked #1 in the state and #13 in the nation.
