Battlefield's Galissia Cause improved upon her state leading mark in the shot put with a personal best mark of 43'10" at the Running Store City-County Championships. The 2013 Group AAA state indoor shot put champion Cause is currently four feet better than the next best performer in Virginia in the shot put at this point of the outdoor season.
