MileStat.com is reaching out to interview and recognize all of the head coaches from the victorious cross country state championship teams from this past weekend to give them the opportunity to reflect and share their feelings and thoughts on their team's successful fall seasons culminating with state team titles. 

Mills Godwin essentially has three head coaches in Sherry Hannay, Kemper Towler, and Jon Lauder. On many teams, there is a clear cut head coach and the rest work under that coach as assistants. However, that is not how the Mills Godwin program works and apparently the three head coaches working in unison together is producing great results as shown with their girls winning the school's first state team title in cross country as well as first individual champion in Katharine Benfer in the 5A classification this past Friday at Great Meadow.
