Online Registration is Closed, but limited Walk-Up Registration available on Race Day

Online Registration for the 8th Battle of the Potomac XC Championship has closed. All Maryland Boys and DC Boys singlets have been allocated. We will have limited “Walk-Up” Registration on Saturday the 23rd from 9 – 11 am at Smokey Glen Farm. On-site registration is $35 and includes the chicken dinner. The following singlets by State are available on Saturday with registration:

Winning Team Nike DryFit Tees Unveiled

How badly do you want to score for the Winning State in the 8th running of the Battle of the Potomac XC Championships? In the unique state vs state competition, there are two “battles”, the Boys Seeded 5K race and the Girls Seeded 5K race. Scoring for each team goes 10 deep. Each of the scoring 10 members of the winning team in each gender earn these custom Nike Dryfit tees.

Who has the drive to represent their home state? The Commonwealth of Virginia, the host state of Maryland, the District of Columbia, or the Mountaineer state of West Virginia.

Registration is Open through Noon on Friday the 22nd. First race is scheduled for 12:45 pm and the final race is at 3 pm, the Girls Seeded 5K. Smokey Glen Farm’s famous barbecue chicken dinner is served at 3:30 with the Border War Danceoff preceding Awards at 4:45. Event concludes at 5:30 pm
