A list of the top 50 fastest Virginia high school girls 5K times from this past cross country season. Many times on this list were achieved this past weekend at either the Foot Locker South Regional or Nike Cross Southeast Regional as elite competition on a fast course at the end of the season always produces many fast times across the board. Not only did Virginia see a rare sub 17 minute 5K performance from Foot Locker South champion Caroline Alcorta (16:55) of West Springfield, but saw great times produced by her three fellow Foot Locker National qualifiers in the race from the state of Virginia in Lake Braddock teammates Hannah Christen (4th, 17:15) and Katy Kunc (5th, 17:16) and two-time private school state cross country champ Molly Breidenbaugh (9th, 17:19) of Trinity Episcopal School.
