Ricky Morgan of Forest Park was at the top of the national rankings list in the 500 meter dash for roughly two hours with his 1:06.18 performance at the Southeastern Invitational. Morgan was bumped down to US #2 after another fast 500 was produced within the Virginia state border, but by a North Carolina athlete in Southeast Raleigh's Jamaree Murray. The University of Southern California recruit Morgan is still VA #1 in the event and also ran a leg on the US #8 and state's fastest 4x200 meter relay this past weekend for Forest Park.
