This past week history started happening again, this time it was Caroline Alcorta's (3200 - West Springfield) turn to join an elite group of athletes to rank themselves in the top two all-time in the state of Virginia. She joined Chantel Ray (Hurdles - Hampton) and Matthew Zajac (Discus - E.C. Glass) who have already made history this season.

It truly has been an amazing season thus far, and we haven't even gotten to the true championship season yet! Though there have been many very impressive times and marks this year, three truly standout for how great they are. The first of these performances to happen was Chantel Ray's 13.53 100m Hurdles. Chantel achieved this running and winning the prestigious Taco Bell Classic invitational. To do this she beat and dethrowned Dior Hall who was hailed as the preeminent prep-hurdler in the nation.
