Register now online by the end of the month of April for the 2007 MileStat.com Elite Track Gala to be held Saturday, June 9th at Sports Backers Stadium in Richmond, Virginia and receive an early bird discount of entry fees from $15 to $10 per individual athlete. Meet management is currently actively recruiting some of the best athletes in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic Region to come into Richmond on June 9th to face the best that Virginia has to offer. Gala Entry Registration Instructions:

  1. Email meet director Brandon Miles for a 5 digit passcode to input entries online at milestat@gmail.com
  2. Go to http://www.hocorunning.com/meetmanager/login.php
  3. If entering multiple individuals as a coach or "designated" coach, drag mouse over signup and click on "School Coach"
  4. If entering as lone individual, drag mouse over "Sign Up" and click on "Individual"
  5. After clearing account, click the "Login" button on the main menu. Type in your username and password and click "Login".
  6. Click on make entries and enter the 5 digit code received from the meet director
  7. Upon reaching the main meet screen, you will have four options:

Meet Entry Options:

1. Enter Athletes:
On this page, you will enter your athletes, 1-10 at a time. The only required fields are Firstname, Lastname, and Gender. After entering in the desired amount of athletes, click "Enter More Athletes". You will recieve confirmation or denial of your entry at the top of the page. If your athlete was entered with no problems, a green statement will verify this. If a red statement appears, your athlete was not entered for a certain reason (which will be given to you), and the information you entered will appear again on the form. When you are finished entering athletes, press "Back to Team Page". Do not press this button to enter your athletes, as this will bring you back to the main meet entry page and you will lose all of the information you typed into the form.


2. Edit Athletes:
On this page, you can edit anything you need to for your athletes. You can also delete and athlete by checking the checkbox next to their name and pressing "Edit Athletes" You can delete more than one athlete at a time. After clicking the button, you will recieve a green confirmation statement if your edit was accepted or a red statement if your edit was denied for a reason that shall be given to you.


3. Enter Entries: On this page, you may enter up to 10 entries at a time.
a. Choose the athlete you want to enter from the first drop down box.
b. Choose the event you want to enter your athlete in from a second drop down box.
c. Enter the Entry Time/Height/Distance under "Time Entry".
d. Repeat up to 10 times.
e. Click "Enter Entries".
f. After the entries are processed, your will recieve a green statment indicating the entry was made, or a red statement indicating the entry was not made (this reason will be given to you).
g. Enter up to 10 athletes at a time as many times as you want.
h. When you are finished entering athletes, press "Back to Team Page". Do not press this button to enter your athletes, as this will bring you back to the main meet entry page and you will lose all of the information you typed into the form.


4. Edit Entries:
This page allows you to edit and times, marks, or distances you entered your athletes at. You may also delete as many entries as you want at one time by checking the checkboxes next to the athletes you want to delete and pressing "Edit Entries". You will recieve a green statement if the edit was made, and a red statement if the entry was not made (this reason will be given to you). When you are finished entering athletes, press "Back to Team Page". Do not press this button to enter your athletes, as this will bring you back to the main meet entry page and you will lose all of the information you typed into the form.

 


Proper Entry Times/Marks Etiquette:

Times

Sprint/Hurdle Times under 1 minute = Ex. 11.11, 45.03

Sprint/Hurdle Times over 1 minute =  Ex. 1:01.97

400m Hurdle Times (use 300H bests) = Ex. 38.99 

800m Times = 1:54.35 

Mile Times (use 1600 bests or 1600 conversion from mile-subtract 1.6s) = 4:16.34 

5K Times (XC/Road bests are allowed) = 16:04.00 

2K Steeple (enter 1600 or 3200 best if without an actual steeple time, enter only one time...whatever is superior) = 4:32.11 (1600 time), 9:52.64 (3200 time), 6:20.45 (actual 2K steeple time)

Marks 

High Jump Marks = 6-04.00

Long Jump Marks = 23-03.75

Triple Jump Marks = 48-11.50

Shot Put Marks = 55-06.80

Discus Marks = 143-04.00
