5. The Girls 5A Team Battle between Tuscarora and Deep Run (Saturday)
This is yet another team race that is going to be very interesting. As you can no doubt see, we love the team battles! Nothing is more exciting and nerdy then to be crunching the numbers in your head and trying to figure out if that blue was Deep Run's or Tuscarora's since they have almost identical colors. This race is going to be flat out fun and very very close. We not only get to see the whole team fight for the title but we also get to see Margot Brown (Deep Run) and Emma Wolcott (Tuscarora) show us how good you can be as an underclassman. We could see breakout races from both of them and make this even more entertaining.
