Senior - Deep Run
Our sixth selection for our first team is Deep Run's Matthew Novak. Though he may not of had his best race all season down in Charlotte, he did however have one of the best seasons in the state. He was the Albemarle, Maymont, William & Mary and 5A State Champion. As a senior he followed up on what he wanted to do by winning an XC State title and never looked back. He finished just shy of a nation qualifying mark at FL but will no doubt show his improvements come track season.
