Mangan coaches one of the historically most successful girls cross country programs in Virginia history with the number of Footlocker National finalists and state champion squads produced by the school. Since taking over at Lake Braddock in 2000, Coach Mangan's girls have reached the podium with a top three finish at the state meet more than any other AAA team in the current decade. Lake Braddock girls are currently ranked #4 in the Nike Team Nationals Southeast Region rankings.
