After putting Fork Union out in the lead for the second year in a row at the Ragged Mountain Cup as well as defeating head to head preseason #1 ranked Austin Ellis of Covenant by 14 seconds on the two mile loop, Fork Union's Jeremy Haney has moved into the #1 ranking in private school. Fork Union did not hurt its claim as the #1 ranked team either after giving Western Albemarle more of a challenge than previously expected at the Cup. Both Roanoke Catholic and Miller School make their first showings in the team rankings after a solid starts this past week.
