.JPG) Midlothian junior Amanda Patterson built a commanding lead in just the first 800 meters and only continued to build on that margin en route to her 19:10 regional title win at the Central Region Meet to remain undefeated for the season heading into next weekend's AAA State race. |
.JPG) Setting a fast pace of 5:26 through the first mile at the Northwest Region Meet is Forest Park senior Beth Fahey. Fahey went never let up, finishing with in a time of 18:44.50 to lead the Forest Park ladies to victory in the Northwest Region. Fahey figures to be Patterson's top challenger in next week's race.
