The Thomas Jefferson boys had a rough day at Nike Team Nationals. They definitely had a memorable season winning a state championship and continuing their streak to six years of consecutive top 3 state meet podium finishes. The Colonials also earned their way to Nike Team Nationals with a second place finish at the NTN Southeast Regional. However, the competition and mud beat up on the TJ boys this weekend with a 22nd place finish out of 22 teams. A bright spot for the Fairfax XC club was the individual performance by Brian Davenport finishing just outside of the top 50. Check out the post-race interview with Davenport.
