Meet Records - Facility Records

This meet is chop full of talented athletes and teams from all across the state and form VHSL and VISAA that are going to be bringing their 'A' game. The most important athlete though to keep you eyes on is Thomas Dale's Titiana Marsh in the horizontal jumps this weekend. She is already US #1 in both the long and triple jumps but hungrier than ever. She is chasing records and this weekend could be the time she moves up the all-time VA list and takes the sophomore national record! With Maya Hanks in the triple jump competition as well we know we are in for a 40'+ show.

Everything from 500 up for the girls is a dead heat at the top of the performance list. This means all of these races should be extremely tight and also feature some great talent. Doria Martingayle, Lindsey Blanks, Gabby Runge, Harper Henson, Rachel Boyce, and many more will be in these lap races.

In the sprints on the girls side James River's Mallory Pitchford will try and pull of the double in the dash and hurdles. She enters the meet as the top seed in both but also with a ton of competition.

In the boys' field events we will have three guys over 50' battling it out in the shot put ring but the main show for field events could be in the guys pole vault featuring Kowal and St. Helen who are VA #1 and VA #3. Can you say jump off?

Back on the track it is going to be a feisty battle to represent Richmond well for the home team. St. Chris enters with one of the fastest relays in all three relays and with a top three relay in the sprint relays. This means the whole crowd will be getting into those finals and they should be interesting with Bethel and Potomac Senior in the mix.

Brandon Thomas, St. Chris senior, will be fighting for himself too as he is entered in the 55 and 300 as well. Naukym Morton and others will be pushing him every step of the way though.

In the distance events the 1600m looks to be the race to watch with Foot Locker national finalist Waleed Suliman slated to compete against Ryan Drew, Randy Hahn, Harrison Martingayle, Austin Story, and many more!
