Two girls are the favorite to win nine out of the 10 running events so of course these point totals are going to be a little off but none the less Brandee' Johnson (Nansemond River) and Doria Martingayle (Princess Anne) are going to score a ton of points. The Stith sisters from Maury are going to do the exact same as well making for a high scoring meet. As much as many of these teams try though no one is going to catch even the "B" squad for Nansemond this season. They are just too deep and too talented. Especially consider the average three scorers per running event and the top seeded 4x200 and 4x400 to go along with the second seeded 4x800. That isn't even discussing the field events where they could also pick up some points.
The race here is really going to be for second between Maury led by the Stith sisters, Deep Run and their distance core and Princess Anne with Doria Martingayle likely running three events in the hopes of helping lead her team higher. This too is a great preview...
