Move over Alan Webb. South Lakes has some new track stars making names for themselves. It seems since the likes of Alan Webb and Richard Smith graduated that South Lakes went into a dark age without many star track athletes, but that has definitely changed this year with an outstanding hurdler in Vincent Brown and a trio of swift sprinters in AJ Price, Nicholas Vaughn, and Adrian Vaughn. The Seahawks are the top ranked team in the Northern Region heading into this weekend's regional championships, while it is no surprise to find the Lake Braddock girls as the leading squad in the Northern Region once again. Melanie Akwule will likely be Lake Braddock's biggest point contributor in the hurdles and jumps.
