The most competitive regional team battle among the four AAA regions appear to be among the Northwest Region boys with defending indoor champions Potomac Senior, defending outdoor champions Mountain View, and Albemarle all having strong enough squads to make a push for the regional crown on Friday at UVA. The Osbourn Park girls have been in a class of their own in the region for the past few years, but will be attempting to bounce back from a surprising defeat at their district meet to the Battlefield girls.
