Sometimes reclassifications make things very interesting and other times it makes things quite lop-sided. This year was definitely a different year for 3A as former Eastern Region teams Phoebus and I.C. Norcom dropped down from 4A to 3A and introduced the former AA schools to what type of speed it takes to even perform well at a Peninsula District Meet!
There is no other way of putting it then the fact that Phoebus and I.C. Norcom have way more speed, hurdling ability, and jumpers for any team to really be the favorite this year like they are.
On the boys side it is Phoebus who have a complete army of hurdlers and superstar Jaelen Williams leading the front. He is going to look to score some major points this weekend and help Phoebus run away with the title.
Gannon Willcutts and Western Albemarle as well as Turner Ashby and I.C. Norcom will also try and sneak up on them but it will take quite a few upsets or dropped batons for Phoebus to let ...
