Liberty Christian's Josh Morris (pictured by John Herzog) had a busy weekend at the USATF Region III Championships as he competed in three distance events and qualified for the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals in all three with runner-up finishes in the 5000 meter run (15:55.75) and 2000 meter steeplechase (6:20.0) as well as a third place showing in the 1500 meter run (4:12.48).
The USATF Region III Championships are being held this weekend in Rock Hill, South Carolina as there are quite a few Virginians making the trip south in their attempts to qualify for the USATF Junior Olympic National Championships.
